What does a Chemist in Pharmaceutical Industry do Managing projects in the Digital world? Well projects need the same level of attention as any scientific experiment would require in a laboratory. There might be some differences, but planning, managing resources, monitoring, evaluating, communicating, and closing are things that both have in common, so it is not surprise that I have acquired these capabilities earlier in my DNA. Furthermore, my professional path has helped me to be forged as a Project Manager mainly by developing other hard and soft skills that can be only acquired in the field and when we are left with a challenge that must be overcome. Among my most relevant hard skills are using Visio for process mapping, Microsoft Project, and waterfall & agile frameworks for project management. Finally, I consider myself as a leader that knows how to negotiate with my partners and other leaders, I care for the relationships among the members of a project and manage to solve the possible conflicts or risks that could impact in the project health.
